Shi Ying glass is a special industrial glass made of silicon dioxide, and it is a very good basic material.  Shi Ying glass has a series of excellent physical and chemical properties such as:

 1. High temperature resistance.  The softening point of Shi Ying glass is about 1730. C, which can be at 1100.  C for a long time, the maximum temperature in a short time can reach 1450. c.

 2. Corrosion resistance.  In addition to hydrofluoric acid, Shi Ying glass reacts with almost other acids. Its acid resistance is 30 times that of ceramic and 150 times that of stainless steel, especially its chemical stability at high temperature, is unmatched by any other engineering material.

 3. Good thermal stability.  The coefficient of thermal expansion of Shi Ying glass is extremely small and can withstand drastic temperature changes. Shi Ying glass will be heated to about 1100. C and will not crack when placed in normal temperature water.

 4. Good light transmission performance.  Shi Ying glass has good light transmission performance in the whole spectrum band from ultraviolet ray to infrared ray, with visible light transmission above 93 %, especially in the ultraviolet spectrum region, the maximum light transmission can reach above 80 %.

 5. Good electrical insulation.  The resistance value of Shi Ying glass is 10,000 times that of ordinary glass. It is an excellent electrical insulation material and has good electrical properties even at high temperatures.
